Вирусолог подчеркнул: прежде чем рассуждать о новом штамме коронавируса, необходимо иметь в виду ряд значимых моментов. В первую очередь то, что полученные данные пока являются предварительными и вызывают много вопросов.
«Статья опубликована в издании MedRxiv, которое без рецензий выкладывает предварительные данные, соответственно, пока мы просто будем ждать результатов дальнейших исследований. Станет ли штамм успешным, зависит от его заразности. "Дельта", например, не такой летальный, но более контагиозный, чего нельзя сказать о "йоте".
